Frequently Asked Questions

Do short links have to use my own domain?

Yes. A link domain must be one you hold in Cloud Services with DNS already connected, so the link carries your brand and the domain stays under your control. Binding creates the DNS record and enables CDN proxying automatically.

If my quota runs out, do links I already published break?

No. Exceeding the monthly click quota only stops new analytics logging; redirects keep working. Running out of quota should never take your live landing pages down.

Which split mode should I choose?

Weighted suits ratio-based A/B tests, round-robin an even split across destinations, and random when you only want traffic scattered. You can also cap clicks per destination so it stops automatically.
